Customer traction: counts and early spend
Shared by Pavel · Updated 2026-11-03
The other traction records do not establish how the 44 registered customers relate to the 41 real signups, or give dates, customer identities, or a payment-by-payment history for the $3,000/month design-partner claim.
Updated 1 Nov 2026 with new facts.
What the figures say
- A separate October 28 traction record reports 44 registered customers and 9 paying customers; it does not define “registered” or explain the difference from “real signups.”
- The open-beta summary reports 41 real signups since September 11, 2026, and 9 paying customers in the first six weeks. Another October 25 record attributes 19 signups to SundAI and 22 to other sources.
- The paying-customer count is consistent across those records; the registered-customer count is a different metric, not a supported replacement for the 41-signup figure.
Design-partner payments
- A July 4 application-draft note says design partners started paying $3,000/month before the product existed. It also flags verifying when payments began and whether they actually started after the MVP shipped.
- The records therefore support reporting the $3,000/month statement as an unverified historical claim—not as a confirmed payment timeline or a detail explaining the nine current paying customers.
Reconciliation
- Keep 41 real signups since September 11 and 9 paying customers as the open-beta figures; report 44 registered customers separately unless the underlying source clarifies its definition and cutoff.
- Treat the design-partner payment claim separately until the payment start date and product/MVP status are verified.
